Manganese Proteinate is a source of the trace mineral manganese that is called a chelate. Manganese Proteinate results when manganese is attached to a protein for better absorption. Manganese is necessary for the proper functioning of many body enzymes, and is required for proper metabolism of lipids and carbohydrates, and the production of healthy bones.
