L-ascorbyl-2 polyphosphate is a stable source of Vitamin C useful in many pets like guinea pigs, monkeys and certain birds. Vitamin C is useful as an antioxidant, supports iron absorption and can be useful healthy immune systems. Vitamin C plays some role in joint care by forming collagen in connective tissue.
