Copper Proteinate is source of Copper that is called a chelate. Chelate forms are absorbed differently than other copper forms. Copper is essential for the functioning of many body systems including the production of red blood cells, formation and maintenance of healthy connective tissue and bone, and the proper functioning of the heart, immune system and nervous system.
